Kobi the mouse killer,

Kobi killed another mouse, this time I actually remembered to take pictures, please note the mouse is already dead in all 3 pics. The mouse was in the closet and Kobi grabbed it as it tried to escape, the mouse never made one peep, it must be instant death the way he grabbs them. He then ran off with it to his perch on the chair. He doesn't eat them, he just picks them up a few more times and then loses interest. I always feel bad for the mice when he or the chickens kill one, I think mice and rats are very cute and I used to keep pet mice and rats. However these aren't pets, they are pests that invade our space and create a lot of extra work for me cleaning up after them and having to store everything in mouseproof containers and out of reach.

Mid January in Southern Nevada,

Prince proudly sits in the middle of all the remnants of a stuffed toy
Leydi looking out from the dog house. All the dogs love this dog house, they stay in it even when it rains all day, so this is apparently a design they like

Kobi doing the bow

Kobi

excavations around the dog house, I moved the dog house as the ground under it was just about to collapse

Teddy getting in front of Nanuk to do his submissive thing, he does that many times a day, I guess that's what's keeping the peace between these two intact males

Teddy doing his famous buttswing right into Nanuk's face, good thing that Nanuk is so patient

Teddy still pestering Nanuk for attention

Teddy literally kissing up to Nanuk

Nanuk also likes to dig, he is 8 1/2 now

Enya in the crater behind Teddy

Enya coming out of the crater

Enya and Teddy

Prince checking out the cave entrance, Ayla behind him

starting to go underground

Prince on his way down into the cave, Ayla looking on

almost gone, only the tail is still visible

Prince is underground, not even the tail is showing anymore, Ayla is still looking

backing out of the cave

here he is re-emerging

here he is

it's so nice to look at the snow and not having to drive in it

this is how tall those pine trees have grown in just 4 years, the fence is 6 feet tall and right behind the trees

Another awsome view of our mountains

Sammie, the pretty Ballerina

When Sammie comes running towards me it's always in a very bouncy and puppyish style

Sammie

Prince taking a drink after all the running he did

Sammie

Prince turns out to be such a good looking dog

Isn't he handsome?

here comes "momma-dog" Leydi,

Prince trotting

Prince looking serious

Prince

Sammie, I still call her the Ballerina, she is so elegant in her movement, such a pretty girl

Sammie and Prince, this was taken in the morning after a rain, the dogs kept running from one end to the property to the other, as something was going on, on both sides, so they were racing back and forth, always amazes me how much stamina these dogs have

Prince racing through the mud

Sammie on the left, Leydi in the middle and Prince to the right, one can easily see on this picture how much bigger than his mother he is, love those curly tails

Momma Leydi in the middle, Prince to the right, Cici to the left

Nanuk and Enya out for a walk, Enya at 2 years old now weighs exactly the same as my male Great Pyrenees, 115 lbs, she is a bit taller than he is

Enya taking a peak over the hill

to the right is the Northeast corner of our fence, I love the view of the mountains

on the right is Cici, to her left her momma Leydi

The sun is setting behind us and her last rays cast long shadows

one of the doggie caves, a very steep slope going down, this is the one Prince went into on the earlier pictures

After sunset

After the sunset the white mountain has a background of steel gray sky
