Teenage puppies,

Cici loves to sit on top of the crate, while Teddy is more the kind to curl up in a quiet corner.

Hard to see, but Enya carries a rawhide in her mouth,
that she then dropped into the water and watched it sink to the ground
then Teddy made some waves trying to get the rawhide making more waves

it was 112 degrees this day and Enya was sitting under the misters with the chickens surrounding her,
she was so good, and the chickens didn't mind her being there at all
Enya's rear end is covered with mud
she is pretty agile for being as stocky as she is. The legs have actually stretched some now and she is almost as tall as Teddy

A lot of people have asked me which one is my favorite puppy, and really, none of them is the favorite, they are each so special

Enya and the rest of the puppies will put their paws into any container that has water in it, preferably right after I emptied all the muddy water out and put fresh water in it
EnyaNanuk has dug himself a hole to sit in

enjoying a nap in his hole
Teddy, he is just an incredibly sweet little guy

Enya and Leydi, when I look at several red dogs in the distance, I have a hard time telling who is who, the pups are almost as big as Leydi, who really is not a small dog

Samantha flirting with Nanuk, who won't really admit it, but he does like all this attention from the puppies

Ayla and Teddy, hard to believe these puppies are just a little over 5 months old

5 months old,

Cici, the queen of the couch, well, for a few minutes at least. Cici isn't much interested to stay in the house for any length of time, she likes to come in, hang out a little, but then she wants to go back outside, Sammie and Enya take turns staying in the house at night, haven't tried Teddy yet.
My new pullets, they are all Ameraucanas and about 2 months old, they will be laying colored eggs, greens and maybe some shade of blue if we get lucky, this was on a windy day, they figured out that it is more comfortable in the chicken house.
This is a little structure I put together from all sorts of leftovers. It provides protection from the wind and the sun, I will probably add a little more to this structure as I have more odd pieces left over when I build something else. This structure is mostly for the chickens, but it will also provide protection for one or two dogs if needed.
this is another shade and wind protection structure. I had a bunch of half doors left from when the doors in my shed were replaced. So I attached for of them together to make the roof for this and then I attached some felt type blankets to the top to increase the shade area. So far this structure has made it without getting damaged through some major wind storms, the wind was blowing pretty good when I took the picture, and the chickens were happily staying out of the wind and sun, and also using their wading pool (the white square to the left of the structure), to cool down.

Teddy with his little friend Kobi, all the puppies love to play with Kobi and he relishes in the attention and all the playful battles

Ayla, who will be 3 years old in August.

Enya and Nanuk. He also seems to be quite happy with all the new additions who treat him like he is the king.

Teddy, he looks like a puppy on stilts right now, with his long legs, he is quite tall already and he really looks like he has a lot of growing to do
Teddy taking a napand checking to see who took a picture while he was napping

The wading pool is very popular, I had just changed the water when these 3 puppies decided to play in it. As can be seen, the water wasn't clean for very long
