8 Days,
these two were going round and round each trying to get their head on top of the others to take a nap - or are those already early moves to figure out who is "top dog"? Orange girl and yellow dot girl. The puppies really look like they will be opening their eyes soon, I see their eyelids twitch like they want to blink their eyes. They also are doing some licking now, yawning more than before which is a calming signal. They also try to shake and some of them raise their bodies up to walk, since they are still pretty unsteady with that, it looks like a cameleon walking as they are trying to keep their balance. Their nails have grown quite a bit and are sharp like a cat's claws, so I think I will try to snip the tips off.
Proud mama, or I would actually say a little tired momma dog, she is taking breaks from the pups and digs herself into the straw outside in the dog house
