5 days old,

these two kept touching paws and pulling back it was funny to watch
good view of the pigment coming in around the nose, not sure yet if the spots on the chin will be ticking, I am guessing that's what it is, ticking is just spots of pigment that are visible in the white areas, not being an expert there, but I think sometimes it's just the skin and sometimes it also involves the hair
black collar boy, lots of dark on the paws already
pigment coming in on the second toe and on the nose
black collar boy and paw, can't miss that this is a boy
white collar girl, dark pigment around the mouth and nose filling in, isn't it cool to watch for those things? I have learned a lot about these things from Janice with Semavi Anatolians, she had a litter last winter and if you go to her blog (links on the side to this one), she has some interesting stuff there too about color genetics.
I think she is awfully cute, but I took the pic mainly to show how the pigment on her pads is starting to come in.
Look at those dark pads on the pink girl, they used to be pink
I just think it looks cute how they are all lined up, yellow girl is trying to dig under the rest of them to get to the nipples on the other side, just something she does, almost every time. She is a rather impatient puppy, when I hear somebody complaining, yipping loudly, it's usually her because she can't get what she wants fast enough. Will be interesting to see in a few weeks how that impatience attitude matures.
