Ayla using her paws
Ayla was chewing a rawhide chewie when I noticed her holding it very expertly with her paws. Not all dogs are that good with using their paws to hold items. So I whipped out my camera to take a picture of it.

It's the thumb, you know. :) I've seen this too. Why cut off our thumbs then?
Of course not all dogs seem to be that flexible. Aslan poked things with his nose to get them into position, and my others tend to use their paws more.
